Methyl-Sulfonyl-Methane (MSM)

After using topical steroids for much of my 41 years, my daughter (a nurse) spoke to me about stopping use of the topical steroids as they can cause additional rashes, which i had been having, which were getting worse and worse.

The MSM powder has been a life saver so far. Certainly my skin is still not 100%, but i did not expect it to be. It is however 85% better than it was without. I have not taken the amounts that some people have, as i want my body to also do the work.

I dont mind the taste, when mixed with a bit of Cawstons Apple Rhubarb juice. Its bitter, but fine.

I bought this to help my skin, since Christmas I had a breakout of spots ad hives Last the summer I developed atopic-dermatitis after using Dr Organics Argon Oil shampoo from Holland and Barretts, it is very sented, it was so bad I had to use anti-histamine tablets and steroid cream……seriously the backs of my ears were streaming sticky goo and even when I was sleeping I was itching……any way since then I have become very sensitive to certain products and at Christmas it was Tea Tree Oil which I used to spot treat a few spots which I never get…..I broke out in hives and could not stop itching, once again I was taking the anti-histamine tablets and the steroid cream. I had read that MSM was very good for eczema and spots so I ordered some to try.Arrived within 2 days, 6 days before the due date and it was free delivery. The product diluted immediately without any grains left in the bottom of the cup, I drank it and it was not a bad taste, you could mix it with fruit juice and not know it was in the juice. I also dissolved some in about 5 ml of hot water and patted it on my face especially the tiny patch of dermatitis which decided to develop on Wed this week or it might have been remnants of the Christmas hives which has taken forever to clear up. . Within about half an hour the scaly skin just fell off when I touched it., the itching had stopped too….lol so I put more on and an hour later the patch had shrunk and had started to heal…….I am over the moon that I have found something which is natural unlike the steroid cream which thins the skin. I read on line that the purer the product the quicker it dissolves which this product did. Finally when I put it on my face it did not sting at all…..now to see what is going to happen to my body by taking this, I will update this after a couple of months or when I finish the product.Show more

Get rid of a lot of aches like knee joints and arm excellent product

This is a great product. I have added it to my hair products for further hair treatment and put it in juices water or smoothies. my skin was always clear but since taking this it has improved! I have heard it helps with muscles too and I don’t tend to have achy muscles since I have been taking msm in general for about 4 years!Show more
